Suzann McLean
British actress Suzann has worked extensively on the UK stage gaining praise for her Isabella in the National Theatre's 'Measure for Measure' and for her portrayal of a young Rwandan in the acclaimed play. Work in the theatre has stretched internationally with performances in Europe and the USA. Suzann's talent for comedy was recognised by the BBC resulting in a part in the hit comedy 'Coupling' followed by two seasons of the BAFTA nominated comedy 'Little Miss Jocelyn'. Development is continuous for Suzann as she moves from theatre to television and film; her range of special-guest appearances on some of the UK's best shows such as Dr. Who continues to grow reinforcing Suzann's presence on the UK screen. Suzann McLean is the winner of the African Film Awards for Best Actress 2011. She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2023 King's BIrthday Honours List for her services to the Arts and to Marginalized Young People in London. She is the Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director of the Theatre Peckham in London, England.
