Joelma da Silva Mendes is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, dancer, choreographer, stylist and businesswoman. She started her career in 1994, as one of the members of the band "Fazendo Arte". In 1999, she formed, in the company of her husband, the band "Banda Calypso". They released thirteen studio albums and ten live albums.
